Kirk Douglas Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a theater that really feels like it’s part of the community? The Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City is just that. It’s got this cool vibe where local performers and up-and-coming playwrights get a shot in the spotlight. I mean, remember when they brought Peter Pan to life there in 2019? The kids (and adults) totally loved it, flying across the stage and all. And it’s not just about kids’ shows, in 2017, they staged The Little Foxes, a classic American drama that really hit home with audiences. The place has this welcoming, almost cozy feel, but it also pulls in big names and high-profile productions now and then. Honestly, it’s like a launchpad for new talent and fresh ideas, which is pretty awesome. If you’re hitting it from the Westside, I’d recommend taking a scenic route through Playa Vista, it’s a nice little detour. Coming from Westwood? Just hop on the 405 south, then switch to the 10, easy peasy. And if you’re into snagging tickets, their site is pretty handy, they’ve got gift cards for your theater-loving friends and a cool interactive seating chart that shows you everything from front-row seats to more budget-friendly options. Trust me, whether you’re into a cozy night out or a fancy VIP experience, the Kirk Douglas Theatre has got your ticket waiting. Don’t miss out on the magic of live performance right in the heart of Culver City.
